Infants have very small fingernails that are sharp enough to etch diamonds. Mia mistook me for one of her toys (they're made in Korea and so was I, but this is ridiculous) and decided to try to improve me by making me resemble the famous depressive Dutch painter. Her gurgling was soothing. The sharp claws trying to detach my ear were not.
