Introducing the ultimate warrior, the savior of humanity against the forces of evil... the family dog. Java is about five years old now and allows Kaiah and Mia to pull on her tail to their hearts' content. Without her, the four human elements of this clan Callahan would not be odd. I got her to hold still for this photo by waving a soggy, chewed-up tennis ball around in one hand. She's waiting to fulfill her sheepdog destiny by chasing it, pouncing, and returning it to the fold. Talk about one quick doggy... She turns like she's on rails.
